Tile Layout & Design

The layout is planned before any tile is set: where the pattern centers on the range, sink or window, how it relates to cabinet and countertop lines, and where full and partial tiles land so the visible cuts fall in the least noticeable places. Vertical stacked, horizontal stacked, offset, herringbone and other patterns each change how the layout has to be set out, and we walk you through that before installation.

Precise Cuts Around Outlets

Outlets, switches, cabinet edges, window returns, range hood areas and under-cabinet details all sit at eye level and stay visible after cover plates and finishing pieces go on. We measure and cut these areas carefully so the tile lines up with the openings and the finished details read clean.

Grout & Finishing

Grout joints are kept consistent and cleaned as we go, with grout color reviewed against your tile before it goes in. At changes of plane — countertop-to-tile and inside corners — we use an appropriate flexible sealant so those joints can move without cracking. This finishing work is part of the backsplash installation, not a separate service.
