Custom Walk-In Showers

Tub-to-shower conversions and rebuilt shower stalls with wide entries, frameless or semi-frameless glass, and tiled returns that keep the lines clean. We frame, waterproof and tile the whole assembly ourselves.

Shower Tile Installation

Wall tile set plumb and level with the layout planned around the niche, bench and glass panel so cuts land symmetrically. Subway, stacked, vertical wood-look, mosaic and large-format all get a layout drawing before installation.

Shower Waterproofing

Schluter Waterproofing Systems

On projects where the design calls for it, we install Schluter waterproofing components — boards, bonded membrane, seals and drain assemblies — following the manufacturer's installation instructions. We use them where they're the right fit, alongside other quality systems.

Shower Pans

Pans sloped consistently to the drain so water leaves the way it should, with no low spots holding puddles. We build to the drain type and tile format the design calls for, whether that's mosaic, pebble or large-format.

Shower Niches

Niches framed between studs, sized to the bottles you actually use, waterproofed as part of the wall system and tiled so the grout lines relate to the field tile around them. Shelves are sloped slightly so they drain.

Large-Format Shower Tile

Fewer grout lines means a cleaner look and less to clean, but it demands flat walls and full coverage behind each tile. We shim, flatten and back-butter, then check lippage with a leveling system as we set.

Grout & Silicone Finishing

Joints packed full, cleaned evenly and cured before use. Inside corners and changes of plane get color-matched silicone so they can move without cracking.

Our Six-Step Shower Remodeling Process

Every shower we build follows the same sequence, in the same order, whether it is a small hall bath or a primary suite. Skipping or rushing a step is what causes failures later.

• 1. Demolition — the old surround, pan and any compromised substrate come out with dust control and floor protection in place.
• 2. Substrate preparation — framing checked for plumb and square, blocking added where niches and benches land, and backer or waterproof board set flat.
• 3. Waterproofing — a continuous system across walls, curb, corners and niche, with seams and changes of plane detailed before anything else happens.
• 4. Shower pan preparation — the pan is sloped consistently to the drain and waterproofed as part of the same continuous assembly.
• 5. Tile installation — layout planned first so cuts land where they belong, then tile set with full coverage and consistent joints.
• 6. Grout and finishing — grout, silicone at every change of plane, glass coordination and a final clean before the walkthrough.
